Indigenous Education initiatives in the Brandon School Division are designed to provide assistance to Instructional and Support staff as they integrate Indigenous perspectives into their daily teaching activities.
Indigenous students are expected to acquire positive self-identity through learning of their own histories, culture and contemporary lifestyles.
Non-Indigenous students are expected to develop an understanding and respect for the histories, cultures and contemporary lifestyles of Indigenous peoples.
