Rail Safety Week (September 18-24, 2023)

The week of September 18-24, 2023, is recognized as “Rail Safety Week” across Canada.

Every year the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Police Service (CPKC) Police Service partners with Operation Lifesaver, educational institutions and community groups to highlight safe practices around railway property.  

Join us for Canada’s 20th annual Rail Safety Week and help us #STOPTrackTragedies.

Operation Lifesaver (OL) Canada is excited to be marking the 20th anniversary of Rail Safety Week (RSW) this year (September 18-24, 2023). As OL’s key annual campaign, RSW has been critical to raising public awareness about rail safety and reminding Canadians that taking risks near tracks and trains could cost them a limb, or their life.
